What's included in the cedar package

- Tongue-and-groove cedar boards for all four walls and the ceiling
- Two tiers of floating benches
- A backrest

- Walking-area duckboard flooring

- Assembly and mounting hardware
Roughly 500 lb of thermally treated Western Red Cedar, milled for the footprint you pick in step 1. Everything else on this page — door, glass, heater, control, lighting, vents — is separate.
You supply
- The framed shell — studs, subfloor and exterior finish
- Insulation between the studs
- Foil tape for the vapor barrier seams
- Finished flooring and any drainage
- Electrical rough-in and a licensed electrician for the heater circuit
- Ventilation duct penetrations
- Basic tools: level, drill, mitre saw, staple gun, clamps

- The cedar package is an interior liner kit. It finishes the inside of a room you have already framed — it is not a freestanding building.
- Wall boards run horizontally by default. Tell us at checkout if you want them vertical so the lengths are milled to suit.
- Bench lumber is priced per linear foot. The quantity above is calculated from your room size and layout and already includes a 10% cutting allowance.
- Heater kW is a recommendation based on room volume at the height you selected, solved from the manufacturers' own published room-volume ranges rather than one flat ratio, because a larger heater is rated for proportionally more volume. Glass, tile and stone shed heat far faster than an insulated wall, so every square foot of glass is counted as an extra 4 cubic feet of room — that is Harvia's own factory figure. The Sauna Guides show the working.
- All heater wiring must be completed by a licensed electrician to local code. We do not provide electrical design.
- We supply materials, not a design service and not an installation. Choosing the layout, building the room, meeting local building and electrical code, and pulling any permit are the buyer's responsibility. Compatibility flags and heater sizing on this page are guidance based on what you enter, not an engineered specification.
- Freight is quoted after the build is confirmed. Long lumber ships by LTL freight and needs curbside access.
