Shipping Information
Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days, with delivery typically taking 5–15 business days after shipment. Sauna cabins and larger units are often made to order and may require additional lead time, which we'll confirm before you buy.
Large items ship by freight carrier, curbside delivery. Cabins frequently arrive on two or more pallets. The carrier will contact you to schedule an appointment, and someone must be present to receive and inspect the shipment. Curbside means the driver delivers to the end of your driveway — moving, unpacking, assembly, and installation are not included.
Inspect your shipment before signing. Count the pallets, note any damage on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact info@plungeintosaunas.com within 48 hours. Keep all packaging for up to 60 days in case the carrier needs to inspect it.
Delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or supplier lead times.

Return Information
Return requests must be approved in writing before any item is sent back — return addresses vary by supplier, and unauthorized returns may be refused or ineligible for refund.
The return window is 30 days on most brands. It runs from the delivery date on most lines, and from the purchase date on our Bathing Brands lines (Harvia, HUUM, SaunaLife, Saunum, Delta, Kohler, ThermaSol, Bathology, Cozy Heat, Rento, Hukka, EOS, AromaMist, Narvi, Finnmark, Kolo, 4 Living and Hotass Saunas).
Eligible products must be unused, uninstalled, unassembled, complete, and in original packaging. You are responsible for return shipping on a change-of-mind return. Fees vary by brand — some lines charge a restocking fee of up to 25%, while the Bathing Brands lines charge no restocking fee, only a re-boxing fee of roughly $20 to $50 if the original packaging is not returned intact.
If the item arrived damaged or a manufacturer error is at fault, return shipping is covered for you.
Custom, made-to-order, special-order, clearance, installed, assembled, or final-sale products may not be returnable.

The SaunaLife EE8G is a spacious, comfortable, high-quality home barrel sauna. Its impressive 7’7” in diameter and 6’7” in length lets you relax and move about comfortably. Form-fitting contoured benching and hand-selected premium materials make for a well-appointed DIY backyard sauna barrel.
The SaunaLife ERGO-Series Elegance 8 outdoor sauna barrel was designed and engineered by sauna enthusiasts to be spacious, comfortable, durable, and attractive.
Ergonomics – Barrel Sauna Comfort
Comfort is extremely important when investing in an outdoor sauna barrel. Smaller barrels use fewer materials, so they can be less expensive; however, there is a big tradeoff in comfort, with lower door height, less headroom, and lower-quality benches. Small barrels also have a tighter arc that compromises bather posture, prevents standing upright, and requires one to duck upon entry and exit.
The SaunaLife Model EE8G is an impressive 7’7” in diameter and 6’7” in length so you can stand comfortably. Due to the large diameter, its benches can be ergonomically contoured and formfitting. The generous barrel arc can support a generous arched backrest for true lumbar support and a natural seating position. Silky-smooth seating is made from beautiful Thermo-Aspen that is 50% thicker than in lesser saunas. This knot-free wood feels comfortable against your skin and has ideal thermal properties for a sauna so it will never be too hot against your skin.
An 8mm tempered glass front wall drenches the sauna with natural light and further accentuates the incredible spaciousness of the interior. The barrel exterior is made from full-length spruce staves that are thermally enhanced for greater strength, dimensional stability, and weather resistance. Secure and level footing is assured with the addition of a fitted floor.

“Thermo-Spruce” means that the wood was naturally treated with pressurized heat and steam so it can last up to 2 times longer than Cedar wood! This chemical-free, eco-friendly wood is dimensionally stable and ideal for outdoor saunas.

The EE8G includes dual floor drains – one is conveniently placed under the sauna heater for your water-tossing pleasure and a second drain is positioned near the door, where cold plunge or pool water may collect.

Illuminating your barrel highlights the beauty of the wood and further enhances your sauna experience. SaunaLife provides an elegant dotless white LED lighting system that is Wi-Fi app-based that allows infinite adjustment. A hand-held remote control is also provided for on/off/dim operation. Shipping cost: Shipping on this item is a flat $950 per order within the contiguous US, added at checkout before you pay.
Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days of confirmed payment, and delivery is typically 5–15 business days after shipment. Made-to-order saunas and custom-configured rooms need production time on top of that, which we confirm before the order is released. We ship within the contiguous United States.
Large items ship LTL freight on a pallet, delivered curbside — to the curb or the end of your driveway, often from a trailer up to 53 feet long. Curbside does not include unpacking, assembly, installation or electrical connection. The carrier calls to book an appointment and someone must be there to receive the shipment. Tell us at the time of order if access is limited — narrow or rural roads, steep driveways, gated communities — and ask for liftgate service if you have no dock or forklift.
Inspect the shipment before the driver leaves and before you sign. Count the cartons and pallets against the paperwork, check glass doors and panels, write any damage or shortage on the Delivery Receipt, and photograph it. Email info@plungeintosaunas.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos and the noted receipt — the same window covers concealed damage and missing items. Keep the packaging while a claim is open.
Cancellations & returns
Cancel before the order has been submitted for fulfillment and it is refunded in full — email info@plungeintosaunas.com with your order number. After that point manufacturer, carrier, return-freight or restocking fees may apply. Every return must be approved by us in writing first: products ship from different manufacturer warehouses, so the correct return address varies, and anything sent back without authorization may be refused.
Return requests are made within 30 days under our general policy; some brands run that window from the date of purchase rather than delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, never heated or filled, complete in their original packaging and in resalable condition. Restocking fees run up to 25% depending on the manufacturer, while Harvia, HUUM, SaunaLife, Saunum, Narvi, ThermaSol, Delta, Kohler and Mr. Steam charge no restocking fee at all, only a re-boxing fee of roughly $20–$50 if the original packaging does not come back intact. On a change-of-mind return you pay return shipping and the original outbound shipping is not refunded.
If the item arrived damaged or a manufacturer error is at fault, return shipping is covered for you. Custom, made-to-order and special-order items already in production, clearance and open-box items, heaters that have been wired or fired, tubs and generators that have been filled, assembled or heated rooms, opened consumables and all Canadian Timber Collection products cannot be returned. The The EE8G ships crated at 91"L x 44"W x 47"H. Curbside delivery by appointment, palletized. The driver's job ends at ground level — they lower the pallet and leave it at the end of your driveway, so line up two people and a clear path to move the pieces from there.

What you need at the panel depends on the heater you pair with the room, and on extras like lighting. Electric heaters take a dedicated 240 V circuit sized to their output, with the breaker and wire gauge set by that heater's manual, and final hookup is a licensed electrician's job. Wood-burning stoves need no power at all — just a chimney kit and the clearances the manual specifies.

Its footprint is 79"L x 91"Diameter, so size the base to that and a little beyond. A level, load-bearing base is the part worth getting right: a concrete pad, patio stones over compacted gravel, or a deck rated for the loaded weight all work, as does an interior floor that carries the load. Leave the heater clearances from the manual and room for the door to swing, and check local permit rules before you build.

A sauna specialist reviews the configuration, the delivery address and freight access, and usually calls you to confirm it before the order is released to the manufacturer. Anything that needs changing gets changed before it ships.

You get an email with the confirmed lead time, the manuals for your unit and what to prepare on site. Tracking follows within 24 hours of it leaving the warehouse.
