Shipping Information
Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days, with delivery typically taking 5–15 business days after shipment. Sauna cabins and larger units are often made to order and may require additional lead time, which we'll confirm before you buy.
Large items ship by freight carrier, curbside delivery. Cabins frequently arrive on two or more pallets. The carrier will contact you to schedule an appointment, and someone must be present to receive and inspect the shipment. Curbside means the driver delivers to the end of your driveway — moving, unpacking, assembly, and installation are not included.
Inspect your shipment before signing. Count the pallets, note any damage on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact info@plungeintosaunas.com within 48 hours. Keep all packaging for up to 60 days in case the carrier needs to inspect it.
Delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or supplier lead times.

Return Information
Return requests must be approved in writing before any item is sent back — return addresses vary by supplier, and unauthorized returns may be refused or ineligible for refund.
The return window is 30 days on most brands. It runs from the delivery date on most lines, and from the purchase date on our Bathing Brands lines (Harvia, HUUM, SaunaLife, Saunum, Delta, Kohler, ThermaSol, Bathology, Cozy Heat, Rento, Hukka, EOS, AromaMist, Narvi, Finnmark, Kolo, 4 Living and Hotass Saunas).
Eligible products must be unused, uninstalled, unassembled, complete, and in original packaging. You are responsible for return shipping on a change-of-mind return. Fees vary by brand — some lines charge a restocking fee of up to 25%, while the Bathing Brands lines charge no restocking fee, only a re-boxing fee of roughly $20 to $50 if the original packaging is not returned intact.
If the item arrived damaged or a manufacturer error is at fault, return shipping is covered for you.
Custom, made-to-order, special-order, clearance, installed, assembled, or final-sale products may not be returnable.
Damaged, missing, or incorrect items must be reported to info@plungeintosaunas.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Canadian Timber Serenity 5 Person Barrel Sauna
A deeper barrel than the Harmony, with room for five bathers on solid wood benches over a flat floor.
The Canadian Timber Collection is Dundalk LeisureCraft's economically priced line — the same designs and the same Canadian craftsmanship as their flagship range, built with precision and shipped as an easy-to-assemble kit. Every piece is handcrafted in Ontario from Canadian wood sourced through local mills.
Dundalk LeisureCraft recommends a 7.5 kW electric heater or a 14–16 wood stove for this sauna, and every heater offered below is sized to match. Choose your heater below. Wood-burning heaters need a chimney kit, sold separately — add one to your order and it ships with the sauna. Electric heaters require a final hookup by a certified electrician.
Warranty
The sauna: 5 year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, beginning the day you receive it. Dundalk LeisureCraft supplies free replacement parts on a valid claim. Service, labor and installation costs are not covered, and replacement parts do not extend the original 5 year term.
The heater and chimney kit are warranted separately, and the term depends on which one you choose:
- LeisureCraft chimney kits — 5 years, no exclusions
- LeisureCraft Timberglow wood heater — 5 years
- Harvia KIP, Homecraft Revive, HUUM Hive Mini and HUUM Drop — 3 years
- HUUM Hive mini-wood — 3 years
- Narvi Kaamos, Kuru and NC Black wood heaters — 2 years
Heater warranties exclude heating elements and sauna rocks. Wood heater warranties also exclude the glass door and ash grate. HUUM electric heater warranties also exclude sensors.
Not covered: normal wear and tear, improper installation, insufficient or improper maintenance, natural weather conditions, and any failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, use or care instructions. Final electrical connection must be made by a licensed electrician — skipping this voids the warranty.

Build time: Canadian Timber products are built to order in Ontario, Canada. We confirm the current estimated build date with the manufacturer when your order is placed and pass it to you before production begins. Transit follows once the unit is built.
Delivery and unloading — please read before ordering
- Ships by freight to your curb or the end of your driveway, by appointment. Delivery is usually made with an 18-wheeler — check that one can reach your street and turn around.
- This model ships in a single crate weighing approximately 1,113 lb before options — adding a heater increases that. Getting the crate off the truck is the customer’s responsibility. The driver will not unload it.
- Crates 84" or shorter can usually be lowered on the truck’s liftgate. Longer crates cannot — plan on a forklift (lifting from the end of the crate, fork extensions required), picking the crate up from the freight terminal with a trailer or tilt-tow truck, or a crew of helpers.
- Inspect before you sign. If the crate looks damaged you can still accept it — photograph it, write “Crate arrived open/damaged — possible hidden damage” on the Bill of Lading, and contact us right away.
- Answer the freight terminal’s call promptly to book your delivery window. Delays at the terminal can trigger storage charges.
- Read the manufacturer’s one-page delivery guide — three ways to unload a large crate, and a before-delivery-day checklist. Five minutes now saves a lot of trouble on delivery day.
Cancellations and returns: This item ships direct from the manufacturer in Canada. You can cancel free of charge within 14 days of placing your order. After 14 days a $350 change-or-cancel fee applies, and once the order is within 7 days of its ship date it can no longer be changed or cancelled. Once it ships the sale is final — the manufacturer does not accept returns. Transit damage, missing parts and manufacturing defects are always covered, and are handled through the freight-claim and warranty process set out in our Refund & Return Policy.
Heater and roof are chosen at checkout. A wood-burning heater also needs a chimney kit, sold separately, and electric heaters must be wired by a licensed electrician — never on a GFI breaker.

- Eastern White Cedar — Handcrafted in Canada from sustainably sourced Canadian cedar; the wood is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insects.
- Solid single-stave bevels — 48 full-length 94.5" staves with a ball-and-socket profile lock together to form the barrel.
- Rust-resistant aluminum bands — Four 2 m bands with 15" bolts hold the staves tight; they are re-tightened in the first few months as the cedar settles.
- Solid cedar cradles — Two 48" cradles carry the barrel on a level base of concrete, deck, patio stone or crushed stone.
- 20" wide benches — Two 71" pre-assembled solid wood benches face each other over a flat floor.
- Porch benches — A 17.5" porch floor with two small benches sits outside the door.
- Heater choice — Electric heater (6 kW recommended) or wood-burning heater with a chimney kit, chosen at checkout.
- Roof options — Add an 8' black asphalt shingle roof or a black metal roof; the manufacturer recommends cover or a roof to minimize water seepage.
- Pre-cut kit — Ships as a pre-cut, easy-to-assemble kit with illustrated instructions; two people recommended.
- 5 year limited warranty — Sauna parts covered for 5 years under residential use; heater warranted separately.

Shipping cost: Curbside freight delivery is free on this item within the contiguous US.
Most in-stock orders ship within 3–5 business days of confirmed payment, and delivery is typically 5–15 business days after shipment. Made-to-order saunas and custom-configured rooms need production time on top of that, which we confirm before the order is released. We ship within the contiguous United States.
Large items ship LTL freight on a pallet, delivered curbside — to the curb or the end of your driveway, often from a trailer up to 53 feet long. Curbside does not include unpacking, assembly, installation or electrical connection. The carrier calls to book an appointment and someone must be there to receive the shipment. Tell us at the time of order if access is limited — narrow or rural roads, steep driveways, gated communities — and ask for liftgate service if you have no dock or forklift.
Inspect the shipment before the driver leaves and before you sign. Count the cartons and pallets against the paperwork, check glass doors and panels, write any damage or shortage on the Delivery Receipt, and photograph it. Email info@plungeintosaunas.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos and the noted receipt — the same window covers concealed damage and missing items. Keep the packaging while a claim is open.
Cancellations & returns
Cancel before the order has been submitted for fulfillment and it is refunded in full — email info@plungeintosaunas.com with your order number. After that point manufacturer, carrier, return-freight or restocking fees may apply. Every return must be approved by us in writing first: products ship from different manufacturer warehouses, so the correct return address varies, and anything sent back without authorization may be refused.
Return requests are made within 30 days under our general policy; some brands run that window from the date of purchase rather than delivery. Items must be unused, uninstalled, never heated or filled, complete in their original packaging and in resalable condition. Restocking fees run up to 25% depending on the manufacturer, while Harvia, HUUM, SaunaLife, Saunum, Narvi, ThermaSol, Delta, Kohler and Mr. Steam charge no restocking fee at all, only a re-boxing fee of roughly $20–$50 if the original packaging does not come back intact. On a change-of-mind return you pay return shipping and the original outbound shipping is not refunded.
If the item arrived damaged or a manufacturer error is at fault, return shipping is covered for you. Custom, made-to-order and special-order items already in production, clearance and open-box items, heaters that have been wired or fired, tubs and generators that have been filled, assembled or heated rooms, opened consumables and all Canadian Timber Collection products cannot be returned. Ask us before you buy if you are unsure.

What happens between checkout and your first session.

The Serenity arrives as a single crate of about 1,113 lb before the heater and options, by LTL freight to the curb or the end of the driveway, by appointment. Unloading is your responsibility: crates 84" or shorter usually come down on the liftgate, while longer ones need a forklift, a terminal pickup or a few helpers. Inspect the crate before you sign.

What you need depends on the heater you choose. With the electric option Dundalk recommends 6 kW; all wiring follows the heater manufacturer's instructions and must be completed by a licensed electrician, and a GFI breaker must not be used. The wood-burning option needs no power at all — just a chimney kit, sold separately, exiting through the top or the back wall.

A level concrete pad, wood deck, patio stone, or crushed stone with a slight fall to the rear for drainage. Dundalk recommends going larger than the sauna's 86.25" x 94.5" footprint so there is somewhere to sit and cool off beside it.

We check the order
A sauna specialist reviews the configuration, the delivery address and freight access, and usually calls you to confirm it before the order is released to the manufacturer. Anything that needs changing gets changed before it ships.

Confirmation and lead time
You get an email with the confirmed lead time, the manuals for your unit and what to prepare on site. Tracking follows within 24 hours of it leaving the warehouse.

Delivery day and after
The freight carrier calls to book a curbside appointment — count the cartons and note any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. Assembly, electrician and warranty questions after that come to us, and we handle them with the manufacturer on your behalf.
